La Plata - Day Two
After a traditional Argentine breakfast of medialunas, juice and drinkable yogurt, we headed to the Natural History Museum and Paseo del Bosque (the Forest Promenade) and the Magical Caves. It was so cold that the kids didn't last long in the Forest Promenade before heading to see the wide array of dinosaur skeletons that the Natural History Museum had to offer. They were both highly anticipating the Saber-Toothed Tigers that they knew were waiting for them at the entrance. Peyton hasn't quite determined the difference between statue and reality (which we discovered in Puerto Vallarta), so it took a bit of coaxing to get her to sit within inches of the "guards at the gate".
We look forward to going back when it warms up! Brrr... we are cold!
